Appointments are generally 50 minutes. In some cases, longer sessions are indicated to help you with a particular circumstance.

Generally, once per week. In some situations, it may be helpful to meet more or less frequently. Once we determine a day and time, it will be reserved for you.

I have specifically designed our first sessions as therapy trial sessions. This is a window of time where we can determine if working together will help you efficiently reach your goals without making any long-term commitments.

The process and length of therapy varies quite a bit. Some of the important factors are your reasons for coming to therapy, how long your concern has been present and your goals. I have experience in both brief, solution-focused methods as well as longer term modalities.

My fees are commensurate with other therapists with my degree of specialized training in the San Francisco Bay Area. Please contact me for more information. I keep a limited number of sliding scale (reduced fee) slots for financial hardship. I am happy to discuss this more with you.

I am not in-network with any insurance panels. However, as an out-of-network provider, I can provide a monthly superbill for PPO insurance reimbursement. Any potential reimbursements would depend on your individual insurance policy. HMO policies generally do not offer any out-of-network reimbursements. I am also not a Medicare provider and do not accept this coverage.

I do not prescribe psychiatric medications. Only a Medical Doctor or Nurse Practitioner can prescribe these medications. I do have a working knowledge of many of these medications and often collaborate with prescribing physicians and psychiatrists as a part of coordinating a client's care.
